2.2.1 Main parts of system

1) PTB Unit (Paper Transfer Belt)

PTB stands for Image Transfer Belt. An image developed on the Toner Cartridge is transferred ﬁrst to the
PTB. This is called the T1 Transfer Paper Charge Roller.
Images are built up in layers on the PTB.
First the Yellow (Y) color image is created on the Toner Cartridge and transferred to the PTB.
Next the Magenta (M) color image is created on the Toner Cartridge and transferred to the PTB.
Followed by the Cyan (C) and Black (K) images.
