Installing and removing server components

Installing SAS expander board

Prerequisites

1

Ensure that you read the Safety instructions.

Complete the procedure listed in Before working inside your system.

Steps

1

Align the locking wells on the SAS expander board to the locking posts on the chassis.

2

Install the SAS expander board and slide as shown in the following illustration.

3

Secure with the provided screw.
