Installing and removing server components

Installing HDD backplane

Prerequisites

1

Ensure that you read the Safety instructions.

2

Complete the procedure listed in Before working inside your system.

Steps

1

Align the HDD backplane over the chassis making sure the HDD connection slots on the backplane 

are positioned on the bottom.

2

Slide the HDD backplane in place and press down to seat the backplane properly.
