Hard drive backplane

Removing HDD backplane

Prerequisites

1

Ensure that you read the Safety instructions.

Complete the procedure listed in Before working inside your system.

3

Remove the 3.5-inch or 2.5-inch hot swappable HDDs.

Steps

1

Pull up the latches on each side to release and remove the plastic clip at the top of HDD backplane.
