Installing and removing server components

Steps

1

Grasp the tray handle with one hand, and use your thumb to push the plunger up to release the HDD 

tray.

2

Continue to hold the plunger and use the tray handle to pull the tray out from the chassis.

3

Remove the HDD tray from the server.

4

Grasp the locking lever on the HDD carrier.

5

Rotate the locking lever to a 90° angle. The HDD disengages from the backplane.
