Installing and removing server components

Install the HDDs on the HDD tray.

Push the HDD tray in until it is fully seated in the chassis.
The HDD tray locks in place after it is properly seated.

Prerequisites

Ensure that you read the Safety instructions.

Complete the procedure listed in Before working inside your system.

Steps

1

Disconnect all cables from the NPDB.

2

Remove the securing screw from the NPDB.

3

Lift the NPDB to remove from the chassis.
