Figure 16
The information bar contains two lines. The first line displays the chamber temperature
Tc, the vacuum in the firing chamber (empty: atmospheric pressure), the firing number
and the probable duration of the program. As long as the temperature is too high for
the program to start, the temperature display will flash. The second line contains the
program number and the program name.
The entry boxes contain the respective program steps with the firing parameters. The
first column contains the program steps in the order of execution, the second column
indicates the temperature at which the step is executed. The third column indicates the
heating rate at which the temperature in column 2 is activated. The respective holding
times are entered in the fourth column.
An exception is the vacuum program step (VAC). In this case, the second column
contains the temperature at which the furnace is vented after expiration of the holding
time (VAC off), and the third column indicates the level of the vacuum in percent (VAC
level). The furnace is evacuated after expiration of the Preheating program step. Please
note that the vacuum holding time is included in the holding time e.g. for temperature 1.
An empty entry box in column 2,3,4 means that the respective value is automatically
specified by the program step or is not required.
The function bar displays the menu options (empty field: no function). The following
options are available:
Program Start
Starts the program: Opens the
Program Procedure
menu.
Program Edit
Edits the program: Opens the
Program Editor
menu.

When Diagram is activated, the program procedure is displayed in diagram form
instead of the entry boxes (Fig. 17). The position of a program step is displayed by a
cursor (solid square); the program step and the related firing parameters are displayed
in the line below.
