Sleep ON/OFF
(De)activation of long-term readiness. This function must be
selected in Setup (see Section 7.6.1). In this context,
DEKEMA notes that the ceramic furnace may only be
operated under supervision.
•
Long term readiness can be switched on by pressing the Sleep ON - key with

•
Long term readiness can be switched of by pressing the Sleep OFF - key with
the red background.
•
If the Sleep OFF – OFF key with the red background appears in the display,
the furnace enters “Sleep mode“ after the program is over. This ensures that the
furnace will not automatically heat up to the start temperature over night or after a
power failure.
•
Sleep mode procedure: After the program ends (lift moves up), an acoustic signal
sounds. “Long-term readiness active” is displayed, and the CANCEL key
remains available. The heating is turned off. The furnace cools to the firing
chamber temperature of 100°C and then closes. The firing chamber continues to
cool while it is closed. The screen saver is activated after a set period (standard
30 min.).
•
Furnace restart (press any key): The lift moves to L0 (bottom position). The
furnace automatically heats to the start temperature. The following text appears:
“Long-term readiness aborted. Removed the fired object. The firing chamber is
set to the start temperature.” The text must be confirmed with the OK key. The
furnace returns
o
back to the last program by default, or,
o
back to the start window after a power failure or rebooting.
