Nominal Voltage Range
The rating plate of the PHV I Phase Comparator indicates the nominal voltage as well
as the nominal frequency.
The PHV I Phase Comparator may only be used for installations with nominal voltages
and nominal frequencies corresponding to the phase comparator.
Depending on the label, the phase comparator may be used for the following voltages
(see Table 2 and Fig. 3.1).
3.1 Nominal Voltage Indication
Only for indicators with selector switch:
Before switching on the phase comparator, the nominal voltage range (indication
of nominal voltage) of the installation to be tested has to be set at the indication
unit of the phase comparator.
For setting the voltage (switching) the selector switch has to be pulled axially into the
direction of the handle and turned
left
or
right
, until the required nominal voltage
range (e.g. 24 -36 kV) is indicated in the display (see Fig. 3.1).
