2.2 Sealing Ring
The sealing ring isolates against high voltage and seals against humidity. Before the
assembly and application of the PHV I Phase Comparator, the sealing ring has to be
checked for proper state. For this purpose, the indicator has to be screwed out of the
coupling element of the test prod by a left-hand rotation.
The ring must not be damaged, e.g. ripped or refractory. In case of a damage, it has
to be replaced by an original sealing ring (see Fig. 2.2 and chapter 11). For detailed
information please contact DEHN + SÖHNE.
The presence and the faultless state of the sealing ring is a precondition of the
required safety standard.
