Phase comparators may not be used as a voltage detector or synchronisation aid.

The PHV I Phase Comparator shows the label Auch bei Niederschlägen verwendbar!/To
be used under wet conditions!, i.e. it may be used in indoor installations and outdoors
under all weather conditions. In case of wet weather, however, the device must not
contact voltage for more than 1 minute permanently.

The PHV I Phase Comparator may only be used for rotary current (three-phase-current)
installations.

The PHV I Phase Comparator is designed in accordance with the climatic category N.
This means for the use and storage of the PHV I Phase Comparator that the provided
limit values of 25°C to + 55°C (temperature) and 20% to 96% (humidity) have to be
kept.
