10. Maintenance tests
In accordance with German regulations (BGV A3), the
PHE...
voltage detector must be tested for compli-
ance with the limit values specified in the electrotechnical rules.
The test interval for maintenance tests of
PHE3...
voltage detectors depends on their conditions of
use, for example frequency of use, environmental conditions and transport, however, maintenance
tests must be carried out at least every 6 years (in accordance with BGV A3).
Maintenance tests are documented on the device (see Fig. 10).
