the rivet nut will be unscrewed and replaced with a new one (refer to key point 7 of troubleshooting, 7.1
the rivet nut cannot be unscrewed). Reusing the damaged rivet nut is not recommended.
5.3 Riveting (GO3312 fig.A)
Insert the tool with the rivet nut correctly installed into the drill of the working object until it fits the
surface of the working object until it fits the surface of the working object.
Activate installation: pull the trigger 11 and then release, the tool will exit after riveting completes.
Installation ends.
5.3.1 Important note, if following mistakes occur:
If a significantly high traction power is selected for a rivet nut size (wrong setting!);
If a significantly high working stroke is selected for a rivet nut size (wrong setting!);
It may cause severe deformation of the rivet nut thread and result in a very high unscrewing force. In such
situation, remove battery 10, unscrew rear cover 8, insert the hex screwdriver SW5 enclosed into the
internal hex at the rear end of the tool, and screw to the left carefully, (if necessary, use a wire cutter to
clamp the rivet nut to prevent it from moving), the rivet nut will be unscrewed. (Refer to key point 7 of
troubleshooting, 7.1 the rivet nut cannot be unscrewed).
5.3.2 Important note, if following mistakes occur :
The rivet nut is not screwed properly nor fit properly the surface of nose piece, i.e., exit
automatically;
Or the rivet nut does not engage to the thread of nose piece properly at the very beginning, i.e,
exit automatically;
This is auto exit of the GO3312 tool to avoid disoperation. Please remove battery 10, check whether
thread of nose piece matches that of the rivet nut, or manual pre-screw is not done properly (refer to key
points 3.1 and 3.2).
