The main power panel for Lioness is located on the forward port side of
the wheel house. Open the cabinet door and make sure that the main
electrical breaker for the “shore power” is OFF (upper left of electrical
panel. You may then proceed to connect the power cord to the outlet
located on the forward side of the wheel house just outside and
forward on the Portuguese bridge. After connecting the power cord to
this receptacle, feed the power cord to the power supply on the dock.
Make sure the main breaker on the dock is OFF then connect the
power cord to the power supply. Turn the breaker on, then return to
Lioness, turn the “shore power” breaker to the “ON” position. Verify
you have power to the main electrical distribution panel for Lioness by
looking for the illuminated light above the shore power breaker and
the AC voltage gauge on the top left side of panel. (Note: If the red
“Reverse Polarity” indicator light is illuminated, turn off the power
breaker and contact the marina manager. Reverse polarity indicates
the “line” and “common” wires are reversed and can damage
electronic equipment.) Turn on the proper breakers to supply power to
the circuits needed.

To disconnect Lioness from shore power, turn “OFF” the shore power
breaker on the main electrical panel, turn “OFF” the power on the dock
and disconnect the power cord from the dock first, then from Lioness.
Screw the receptacle cover into place on Lioness. Stow the cord in its
proper location.
Generator
1.
Confirm that the main electrical breakers for the generator is in the
OFF position.

On the center of the main electrical panel, there are controls for
generator. The lower-left toggle switch is for the glow plug “PRE
HEAT”, the lower-right toggle switch is for the starter and upper right
toggle is the “stop” button for the generator.

Confirm that the generator main breakers are in the “OFF” position,
push the respective PRE HEAT switch down and hold for 30 seconds
then while continuing to hold the PRE HEAT switch down, push the
starter switch down to start the generator. When the generator is
cranking, the green light next to the switches will illuminate. When the
generator starts, (which should be within a few seconds), release the
start switch. Hold the pre-heat switch for an additional 15-20 seconds.
4.
After allowing the generator to warm up for a minute or two, turn the
main electrical breaker for the generator to the up/ON position. This
will electrify the panel and will allow you to use the 110-volt power
