1.4.2.1.3 Front Panel – Console Port
The MRS-9800-MI provides a RJ-45 (receptacle) Console serial port. Users can
connect to hosts via this port to perform system debugging, configuration, maintenance,
management and host software loading.

1.4.2.1.4 Front Panel – Management Port
The MRS-9800-MI provides a RJ-45 (receptacle) Ethernet port. Users can connect
through this management port to hosts for program loading or to connect to remote
devices for remote management (e.g., a managing workstation).

1.4.2.1.5 Front Panel – Reset Button
MRS-9800-MI provides a RESET button for resetting the board.
1.4.2.2 MRS-9808-M
The MRS-9808-M is switching module for the DCRS-9808 series switch. System
status control, switch management, user access control and management, and network
maintenances are performed here. The board can be inserted into M1 or M2 slots of the
chassis for Master-Slave redundancy.
