4. Remove each of the log grates from the fireplace.
5. If not already done, Install the firebacks at this time (see instructions in the appliance manual).
6. Install Ember-Glo glass onto the inner
media tray (Not the outer media tray
between the location of the two pieces
of glass). Spread the glass over the
media tray so that none of the metal
media tray is visible.
NOTE:
There are holes where the legs of
the log grates penetrate the media tray. Do
not allow any glass to go down in those
holes. After the grates are reinstalled, more
glass will be used to fill in around the legs of
the grate to disguise the media tray.
7. Reinstall the log grates. Secure them
to the fireplace using the screws
removed earlier. Use more of the
Ember-Glo glass to cover the
remainder of the inner media tray.
