4.6 Run Test
In addition to running a test by selecting an autosequence from the Edit Autosequence screen, a test
can be run by touching the Run Test quadrant of the main screen. The only difference is whether
you select the Autosequence first through the Edit Autosequence list, or you select the
Autosequence after you choose the incubator to test through the Run Test option.
Regardless of the way in which a test is ‘run’, the test requires that the incubator be identified, so
that the report can be saved. Running a test will first display the device information input screen
shown below.
It is mandatory to enter the Equipment ID, as it will form the core of the test report filename. The
Technician Initials (or alternate code) is also mandatory to identify who performed the test. Other
information (make, model, location, facility) may be entered, but are not mandatory.
If this screen was entered from the Edit Autosequence option, the correct Autosequence will be
included in the AutoSequence field. Otherwise, if this screen was entered from the Run Test screen,
it will be necessary to select the desired AutoSequence from the (user defined) list, as shown below.
