7.11. Potentiometer calibrating
Function
Before
selecting
potentiometer measuring mode it should
be calibrated the potentiometer. At calibrating must define
the start and the end position of potentiometer’s wiper. So
you can fit the measuring range of the instrument to the
potentiometer scale. If the potentiometer is not calibrated
the “st.” indicator signs the error with 3 blinking.
1. The figure shows the state before calibrating. In the “R”
window you can see the resistance value of the
potentiometer given in two decimal form.
Sequence of operations
2. Set the potentiometer wiper to the start position, than
click on the left button.
You will see on the left button the resistance value of the
potentiometer in the start position.
