Dataton rigs very often have to operate
in harsh environments, like exhibition
halls, theaters, etc. To ensure reliable
operation, it is important to adopt a
well-engineered connection scheme. The
rig should be split into discrete power
zones, where one zone of Dataton
equipment is powered from one 12V DC
ADAPTOR and other related devices
from a common power outlet. Active
smartlink cables or TOUCHLINK units
that are located away from the main rig,
should receive power locally by means
of 12V DC INJECTOR units, as indicated
above for POWER ZONE 1.
