Using DEX/UCS Capabilities
The direct exchange (DEX)/UCS port can only be used with the Datamax-O’Neil approved DEX cable (P/N 210237-
xxx). When the DEX cable is plugged into the data port, the printer automatically turns off to allow data transfer
between the CN3/3e and the DEX port. Remove the DEX cable to resume connection to the printer.
