RECOVER THE LASER MARKER
OVERVIEW
The laser marker is provided with an
USB recovery disk
ing” on page 10) able to restore it to the factory settings.
The USB recovery disk should be used if the
Operating System is corrupted
or
disks are
corrupted
.
HOW TO RECOVER THE LASER MARKER
The recovery procedure requires the USB recovery disk which is included in
the standard equipment.
NOTE
Recover the system:
•
Turn OFF the laser marker
•
Insert the USB recovery disk provided with the laser marker in the USB port
•
Turn ON the laser marker and press the
ESC
key to enter the BIOS menu
•
Go to BOOT menu, select
Hard Drive BBS Priorities
and press the
ENTER
key
•
Select
Boot Option #1
and press the
ENTER
key
•
Select the
USB disk
from the list and press the
ENTER
key
•
Press the
F4
key
•
Select
YES
and press
ENTER
•
The laser marker will restart and Clonezilla live will boot from the USB disk
CAUTION
All existing data in the laser marker will be overwritten. All existing data
will be lost If possible, make a backup copy of all the customer's data
before recovering the system.
