5.15. Signature function (EVO 4.3 only)
The touch display of the EVO 4.3 may be used to enter a signature directly at the screen. The oper-
ator uses a finger to draw the signature directly onto the screen.

Configuration using the Datafox Studio IV
The signature function has to be activated in the setup and memory has to be assigned to storing
the signature ima
ges. You may then use the field function “Signature” at the appropriate place in
your setup process.

Integration into the setup process
As soon as the signature function has been activate, the field function “Signature” becomes availa-
ble. This function can be placed into the setup at the appropriate place where you want to record the
signature.

Running
the field function Signature on a device results in the image’s name just created by the
function being returned. You may store this filename within the data record created
– please assign
a 40 charater wide, alphanumerical record field.
Transfering the signature images is done in the same way as camera images are being transferred
