A text message is displayed until it expires or is being confirmed by “ENTER” or “ESC”, then the im-
age is saved. You may activate

setting will result in a picture being stored only when a data record is being generated.

Attention:
The recorded picture will only be discarded, if the ESC key is pressed while the text
message is shown. After pressing ENTER, if the message is not configured or when the
message expired automatically before you pressed ESC the picture is being saved.
Using the settings on the “Jumps” page (red marker in

) you can configure the behaviour upon pressing ESC. By default ESC skips to the
next input field (green marker in

Attention:
Saving images and data records are independent processes. An image will be saved
even if the record store for data records if full.
Additionally an acoustic signal may be generated when running the field function. The acoustic sig-
nal may be selected from the drop down list (see blue section in
Fehler! Verweisquelle konnte

). The acoustic signal is deactivated by default.
