3. Click on the Datacolor PAINT icon to launch program. The program will prompt you for a user,
POS ID and password. Enter the POS ID and Password, and click
Log in
.
NOTES
The POS ID is found on a printed document in the instrument case.
The default user and password is
admin
. The Datacolor PAINT v 2.x main window will display.
All program features are accessed from the PAINT main screen.
Instrument Configuration
You must configure the program to recognize both the dispenser and the instrument you are using. This is
done through the
Settings
feature in Datacolor PAINT.
1. On the main window, click on the
Settings

The window below displays.
2. Access the
Devices
page.
You must select a dispenser and a spectrophotometer.
