Printer Manager
Update Password
WebAdmin
access

personnel
can
specify
to
password
protect
Printer
Manager
and
limit
access
to
the
advanced
settings.
Adding
password
protection
is
the
preferred
method
of
restricting
access
to
Printer
Manager.
If
no
password
is
assigned,
a
password
is
not
needed
to
log
on
to
Printer
Manager.
1.
Select
the
access
level
for
which
you
want
to
assign
a
password.
The
WebAdmin
access
level
can
update
the
WebAdmin,
WebUser,
SnmpRwCommunity,
and
SnmpRoCommunity
passwords.
2.
Enter
the
current
password.
If
a
current
password
is
not
set,
leave
this
field
blank.
3.
Enter
the
new
password
in
the
corresponding
field.
To
remove
a
password,
leave
this
field
blank.
4.
Enter
the
new
password
again
to
confirm
it.
Leave
the
field
blank
if
you
are
removing
the
password.
5.
Click
Update
Password
to
apply
the
changes.

in
the
following
order:
WebService,
WebAdmin,
and
WebUser.
You
can
use
a
password
that
is
higher
in
the
hierarchy
to
log
on
to
a
specific
role.
Passwords
may
contain
the
following
characters:
a–z,
A–Z,
0–9,
+,
and
/.
