Testing Single-Value Digital Input 

To verify that the module can read a single digital input value, do the following: 

1.

Connect a digital input to digital input line 0 of port A on the DT9824 module. Refer to 

page 35

 for more information on connecting digital inputs.

2.

In the Quick DataAcq application, choose 

Digital Input 

from the 

Acquisition

 menu.

3.

Select the appropriate DT9824 module from the Board list box.

Note:

Once you select the module, the LED on the module turns green.

4.

Select digital input port A by clicking 

Port A

.

5.

Click 

Get

. 

The application displays the value of each digital input line in port A on the screen in both text and 
graphical form.
