Steamed Bread Pudding
DIRECTIONS
Grease four 4-ounce ramekins with the butter. In a bowl, add the eggs, sugar, vanilla,
cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Whisk until well-combined and then, stir in the milk. Add the
bread cubes to the mixture and stir so that the bread is submerged. Wait 15-20 minutes
so that the bread soaks up the liquid.
Evenly divide the bread and liquid mixture between the ramekins. Sprinkle raisins and
walnuts into each ramekin and lightly stir so that the fruit and nuts settle. Cut some
aluminum foil to fit over the ramekins and cover. Place the ramekins in Baskets 1 & 2 and
steam for 25-30 minutes or until a knife inserted into the center comes out almost clean.
Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

2 cups full fat milk
1-2 tbsp butter
2 eggs
½ cup brown sugar
