MTG-99 Hall Effect Gages

The MTG-99 can save thousands of thickness readings either internally or onto a
removable SD card when the
F1 Function
is set to
Save.
The Save option allows the
user to select which data will be saved when the
F1 - Save Function
is used.
To use the
Save
option, follow these steps:
1.
Use the up and down arrow keys to select the
Save
option and press the
MENU/OK
key or the
right arrow
to enter the
Save menu
..
2.
Use the up and down arrow keys to toggle between the following settings:
BMP
: Bitmap or screen shot captures
THK ONLY
: Thickness only
3.
When finished, press the
F1 – Back
key to exit the screen.
After this selection is made, when the gage’s F1 function is set to save, the
F1
key will
display BMP or SAVE THK depending on what was selected.
The data saved will depend on your
datalogger directory
setup parameters. For example,
if the
Notes
option is set to
Off
then saved thickness reading will be stored at the ID
location [Linear], [Row], [Col] without notes.
When the save key is pressed, the gage saves all of the different values, Thickness, Diff,
Min, Max and Avg, depending on what readings you have turned on from the
Measurements menu.

send option allows the user to select which data will be sent to the user specified location
(Bluetooth, RS232 or USB) when the
