Glossary and terminology
Manufacturer:
the natural or legal entity that places the
machine on the market or into service, putting their name
or brand on it.
Owner:
the natural or legal person who or which pur-
chased the machine and intends to use it for the specified
intended uses and purposes.
User:
any trained person authorised to use the machine
by their supervisor.
Disclaimer notice
The manufacturer is deemed without liability in the event
of the following non-compliances.
- Misuse of the machine.
- Unauthorised modifications and/or repairs.
- Lack of or poor maintenance.
- Use of non-original spare parts or parts which are not
specific for the model.
Non-compliances of this kind may cause injury to people
or animals or damage to property and will result in invalid-
ity of the statement of compliance with the relevant leg-
islation.
