4.3.2.4 AC Cable Installation
The
t43™
ships with a 6 m (19.7 feet) long 3-wire, indoor/outdoor cable furnished with mating 3 pin AC connector
on one end, exposed on the other end for installation in the external junction box. The AC power (single phase
between 100 and 240 VAC, 50 or 60 Hz) shall be supplied through a circuit breaker or fuse. Refer to Figure 4-6.
Note: The power cable is rated for indoor or outdoor use and must not be placed inside conduit.
13. Route and secure provided AC power cable between
t43™
AC port and the junction box.
14. Set the circuit breaker in the OFF position.
15. Connect the cable to the supply wires inside the junction box (Line – Black wire; Neutral – White wire;
Ground – Green/Yellow wire). Follow standard practices and local code.
16. Set the circuit breaker to ON position.
17. Test the cable end with connector for correct polarity and voltage levels.
18. Set the circuit breaker back to OFF position.
19. Remove dust cap from the AC power connector located at the bottom of the
t43™
.
20. Connect and secure cable AC power connector to the
t43™
AC power connector.
