5.6.1 Repeat Mode (MODE1)
In this mode, the output follows the fault status of products (detectors, control devices, same
receiver). This means that if one product has a fault then the fault relay is activated.
5.6.2 Combined Mode (MODE2)
In this mode, the output follows the fault status of products (detectors, control devices, same
receiver), but it can also indicate new faults. This means that if a product has a fault (e.g. the
battery is low), the output is activated and a new pulse activation cycle is generated when another
fault occurs.
Fault relay operation can be changed via the “Programming” menu and the “Fault relay”
sub-menu in “Installation” mode.”.
Example:
to change fault relay operation so that its break status is normally open (NO) or
normally closed (NC).

IMPORTANT: the fault output is factory-programmed for “NC MODE2” (Normally Closed,
Combined Mode).
IMPORTANT: the * character at the end of the line indicates the selected parameter in the
current configuration.
