Maintenance
The
KLEENJET® PRO PLUS 300CS
, which is made of high quality materials needs a minimum amount of
maintenance. Please follow the below steps to assure your
KLEENJET® PRO PLUS 300CS
keeps on
working to its full potential.
After using the
KLEENJET® PRO PLUS 300CS
, store in a dry, safe place.
If the
KLEENJET® PRO PLUS 300CS
is not in use for several weeks, empty the water tank before using. If
you know in advance you will not be using the system for more than two weeks, we suggest removing the
water completely from the system by opening the Boiler Drain Cap (8).
Caution:
Wait until the system cools
down before attempting to remove water as the cap gets very hot.
Always clean the
KLEENJET® PRO PLUS 300CS
and its attachments after using.
Make sure no water gets inside the
KLEENJET® PRO PLUS 300CS
other than directly into the water
chamber.
Do not leave the
KLEENJET® PRO PLUS 300CS
outside overnight or in the rain.
Help keep the boiler from developing scale build-up by performing the following cleaning procedure.
IMPORTANT: “
We suggest cleaning the boiler every 50 hours (system power-on hours and not steam flow
hours) of use, or also if the machine has remained unused for a long period of time. Make sure the system is
cold, the power buttons are in the off position, and the power cord(s) are not plugged into electrical outlet(s).
Next, Fill the water tank, placing a bucket or a recipient container under the machine to capture the water. Now
remove the boiler drain cap (8) underneath the machine. Next, plug the power cord(s) into the wall, then switch
on only the main power switch (2A). The main power switch has a lightening bolt on it. Do not turn on the
boiler power switch, which has white dots on it. Wait until the low water indicator (4) lights up to indicate the
internal cleaning of the boiler has been completed (about 2 minutes or so). Note: you may notice white or
black particles in the water exiting the system. This is scale and is completely normal. Next, unplug the power
cord(s) from the electrical outlet(s), and screw the drain cap back onto the bottom of the machine.
Now that the boiler cleaning has been carried out, proceed as described from point “Getting Started” (pag.11).
