Input Over Current Detection
Supposed Cause -over current due to compressor failure
-over current due to defective outdoor unit PCB
-over current due to defective power transistor
-over current due to short-circuit
Troubleshooting
Input current flowing
above its stop level?
Replace the outdoor unit
Yes
No
Yes
Turn off the power and disconnect
the harness U, V and W
Check with the inverter checker
Measure the input current
Check outdoor fan motor,
outdoor ambient temperature,
refrigerant charge level
Any abnormal?
Refer to the type of
abnormality and
conduct proper
service
Compressor
faulty?
Yes
Change Compressor
No
Change outdoor
Control Box
