6.6.2
Setting welding JOB
Set the welding JOB with setting screen and screen operation knob.
1.
Select "WELDING PROCESS" on the HOME screen.
2.
Select "WELDING PROCESS" to be changed.
3.
For other parameters (gas, wire material, wire diameter, Manual/Auto., Crater, start condition, Synergic ON/
OFF), display the setting screens of the respective welding JOB, select the options, and set the values.
4.
Press the CONSTANT PENETRATION key and select ON or OFF for the constant penetration.

Setting welding parameter
This section explains how to set the welding parameter (gas discharge time, welding current/voltage). The welding
parameters are set according to the welding sequence.
6.6.3.1
Welding sequence
The basic welding sequence is the process of PRE FLOW, MAIN CONDITION, and POST FLOW. To this sequence, start
condition and crater-fill condition can be added depending on the crater setting. The welding parameters such as gas
discharge time, welding current and voltage should be set to this sequence.
●
Turn the screen operation knob and point the cursor to the
WELDING PROCESS (Eg. DC PULSE).
●
Press the screen operation knob.

The setting screen of welding JOB of WELDING PROCESS
will be displayed.
●
Turn the screen operation knob and point the cursor to the
changing item.
●
Press the screen operation knob.
⇒
Change of the welding process is confirmed, and the
screen returns to the HOME screen.
⇒
LED ON: the penetration control is valid.
LED OFF: the penetration control is invalid
