INSTALLATION PLACE
Observe the following when selecting an installation place.
Keep the welding power source more than 1ft.(30cm) away from the walls or other machines.
Select a place with low humidity, and little dust or dirt. Do not expose welding machine to direct
sun light, wind and rain.
The installation place should be away from flying sparks and spatter.
The installation place should be dry and clean with little dust, and little oil steam.
No corrosive gas should be around the installation place.
The installation place should be below an altitude of 3,300ft.(1,000m) and the ambient temperature
should be from 32 to 104 (0 to 40
) , and relative humidity should be up to 50% at 104 (40
) ,
90% at 68 (20
) .
Install the welding power source in a place with little or no vibration and in a horizontal place.
(inclined up to 10
).
Select a place where wind won’t blow against the arc. (Use a wind shield to protect the arc from
wind, otherwise welding defects may occur.)
