Crosshead Rollers - Inspect
1.
Operate the mast through a lift cycle. Watch the
chains move over the crosshead rollers. Make sure
the chain is tracking over the rollers properly.
Typical Example

Check for damaged crosshead rollers, guards and
retainer rings.
Carriage Side Rollers Thrust (If
Equipped) - Lubricate
1.
Raise the carriage high enough to gain access to
the side thrust rollers on the back side of the
carriage. Block the carriage in this position.
2.
Lubricate 2 side thrust roller fittings, one on each
side of the mast.
3.
Raise the carriage, remove the blocking. Lower the
carriage to the floor.
Carriage Sideshifter (If Equipped) –
Lubricate
1.
Lubricate 4 (6) fittings. The forks may have to be
moved to gain access to all of the fittings.
2.
Operate the sideshifter carriage through several
complete cycles to distribute the grease the carriage
to the floor.
