MANU0140    Rev. 0     2/2019

Before each treatment, the Link Controller will ask you about the condition of your skin since your prior
treatment.  It will use this information to calculate your next dose.  It is normal to experience some slight
“pinkness” about 8 – 12 hours after a treatment, which is typically gone before it is time for your next treatment.

Operating the Home Link

TM

 Control System

Setting up a Treatment

1.  Touch  the  screen  to  awaken  the  unit  and  open  the  Logo  screen.  Touch  the  Logo  screen.  The  Lock

screen will appear (if enabled).

2.  Enter  in  your  Key  Code  using  onscreen  keypad.    Unless  you  have  changed  it,  the  factory  preset  Key

Code will be 0007.

3.  Once the key code is entered, the Treatment screen will appear.  The first time you use the device, your

first  dose  will  automatically  appear,  based  on  your  doctor’s  prescription.  After  your  first  treatment,  this
screen will display the next scheduled treatment, but will also ask if you experienced any pain or redness
after  your  last  treatment.    Based  on  your  response,  the  Link  Controller  will  adjust  your  treatment
according to your prescription.

Were you in pain or red after your last treatment?

No, or less than 24 hours  ( “Not at all, or it was gone in less than 24 hours” )

24 – 48 hours  ( “I was in pain or red for 24-48 hours after the treatment” )

More than 48 hours   ( “I was in pain or red for more than 48 hours” )

Still red / pain    ( “I am currently still red or have pain” )

Note:

Selection  of  the  “Still  red  /  pain”  option  will  instruct  the  user  to  skip  a  treatment,  and  will

lock the device until one treatment has been skipped as an intentional safety measure to prevent
treating the skin until the erythema (redness) has resolved.

4.  Once you have highlighted your response, tap the Enter key.

5.  The Treatment Confirmation screen will appear and will display the dose and an estimated time for your

treatment. If changes need to be made, press the back arrow.

 To cancel press X.

6.

Put on your goggles and position yourself 9 inches from the front of the device.

7.  Tap the Enter key

to begin the treatment.  A 3 second countdown will begin, and then the lamps will

turn on.

8.  The screen will display your progress and the lamps will shut off when the treatment is over.  If you need

to pause in the middle of the treatment, tap the Pause button.

Tap the Play button to resume.

9.  You have now treated one half of your body.  To treat your entire body, you will need to repeat the same

dose on the other half.  To repeat the same dose, touch the Repeat button.

.

Special Notes

If  power goes off  during  a  treatment, the  system  will  remember  how  much  of the treatment  has elapsed.

When power is restored, your device provides an option to resume interrupted treatment.
