Note:  Changing or Disabling the Key Code

The Key Code is a safety feature to prevent someone from accidentally turning on or tampering with your
device.  It unlocks the device, just like a key.  If you would like to remove the Key Code or change it to a
number that is easier for you to remember, please contact the Daavlin service department at 1-800-322-8546
for step by step instructions.  The Daavlin service department is available to assist you Monday through
Thursday 7:30am - 8:00pm EST and Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm EST.

Features of the Link

TM

 Control System and Integrated Dosimetry

The Link Controller is an advanced control system which automatically performs many safety checks on your
behalf, as well as calculating dose increases based on your treatment schedule and how your skin responds to
treatment.  For example, each time you use the device, the Link Controller will take into consideration the date
of your last treatment.  If you are right on schedule, it will automatically proceed.  However, if you have missed
days in between, the Link Controller will adjust accordingly to keep your dose within a safe parameter.  During
the course of using your device you may see screens with messages explaining these safety adjustments.
Other screens conveniently remind you of how many exposures remain before you need a refill prescription (if
your unit was prescribed with FlexRx) or if it is too soon for your next treatment.  The following are examples of
these types of message screens:

Another advanced feature of your device is Integrated Dosimetry, which uses a built-in sensor to monitor the
amount of light energy being produced by your device.  This automatically adjusts your treatment to account
for variables such as room temperature or aging lamps to keep your dose consistent.
