I can’t access the D-Link Media Server from
MediaLounge
TM
.
Check the computer and make sure that it is on and not in “sleep”
mode.
Make sure that the path you established to access your media content
is correct (the shared folders you assigned in the Media Server
software).
Make sure that you are connected to your home network. If you have an
internet connection on your network, check the connection by attempting
to browse the internet. Also, check if the IP Address has been assigned
to the Media Player.
Check if the Media Server software is running on your computer by
checking the icon in the system tray.
Disable your network security/firewall, this may prevent the Media Server
software from operating properly.
If your computer is running Windows
®
000 or Windows
®
XP, make sure
you have signed in.
MediaLounge
TM
responds slowly when I watch a
movie, browse photos, or listen to music.
Check to see if there are too many files in one particular folder, sometimes
navigating through too many files may be slow. Create more folders with
less content.
Remove non-supported file formats. The response time becomes slow
when attempting to play unusable files.
Check if your computer is performing at optimal speed. Try installing the
software on a faster computer.
