DVC-000 User’s Manual

Static IP address:

An IP address for a particular network device (PC, VideoPhone,

router) that doesn’t change. See DHCP.

TCP (Transmission Control Protocol):

An Internet protocol used by the

DVC-2000 VideoPhone in addition to UDP.

UDP (User Datagram Protocol):

The Internet protocol most commonly used by the

DVC-2000 VideoPhone to send and receive audio and video data.

WAN (Wide Area Network):

A network that is designed to span large distances. See

LAN.
