INCOMING IP FILTER Window

BRIDGE FILTER

Bridge filters are used to block or allow various types of packets through the WAN interface. This may be done for
security or to improve network efficiency. The rules are configured for individual devices based on MAC address. Filter
rules can be set up for source, destination or both. Bridge Filter is only effective on ATM PVCs configured in

Bridge

mode. The Global Policy

FORWARDED

means that all MAC layer frames will be

FORWARDED

except those

matching with any of the specified rules in the following table.

BLOCKED

means that all MAC layer frames will be
