To replace the fan, first loosen the captive screw on the 8006-FAN fan tray or remove
the buckle on the 8010-FAN fan tray.
Replace the failed fan with a good one.
Tighten the captive screws of the 8006-FAN fan tray.
Warning
The air filter for the DGS-8000 shall be cleaned periodically (generally once
every three months) by dry cleaning or washing. Do not need during the
cleaning or washing and flat dry after the cleaning or washing.
5.2.3
Power Supply Maintenance
When the power supply fails, you only need to disconnect the power cable, loosen the two
panel screws on the power module, unplug the power module, replace it with a good one,
and tighten the panel screws, and then connect the power cables.
5.2.4
Remote Maintenance
DGS-8000 supports remote maintenance. By utilizing the Internet, a user can realize
communication through remote Telnet login. During installation and networking, DGS-8000
and the Internet are connected; therefore, the user can log in to the DGS-8000 via Telnet
and maintain DGS-8000 remotely through various monitoring commands.
5.2.5
Module Fuse Specification
The table 5-1 lists the specifications for the module fuses. To replace the old fuse wire with
the correspondent new one, please contact the technical support representatives of D-Link
Networks.
