The MP3 navigator
When you insert a disc containing MP3 files, the player will
launch the MP3 navigator - an on-screen interface for playing
MP3 music files. The MP3 navigator provides options for
playback of MP3 files, including repeat and random modes.
Insert a disc containing MP3 files. The MP3 navigator
appears on screen. In this example, our MP3 disc
contains 3 directories.

Press ENTER to open the first directory. The files in the
directory are now listed on-screen.

Use the DOWN ARROW key to move to the file list.
Press ENTER to begin playback.

Press STOP to end playback.

To select a play mode, press the REPEAT 1/ALL button
repeatedly until you reach your desired setting. The
current play mode is shown in the lower left corner of
the Navigator and will disappear after a few seconds.
To check the status of your play mode, press the
DISPLAY key on the remote control.

MP3 files must be stored on discs with the extension
“MP3”, such as “song1.mp3”, otherwise the files will not
be recognized.
CD-R/RW discs containing MP3 files should be in
ISO/9660, Mode 1, Closed Session format for best
compatibility.

You can select from a variety of playback options with the
PLAY MODE function. The play mode determines which of
your MP3 files will play, and the order they will play back. The
following play modes are available.
SINGLE - Plays a single file, then stops.
REPEAT ONE - Repeats a single file continuously.
REPEAT ALL - Repeats all MP3 files in consecutive order
in the selected folder continuously .
REPEAT OFF- Plays all MP3 files in the selected folder in
consecutive order one time.
SHUFFLE - Plays all files in a folder using a random order
and stops.
RANDOM - Continuous playback of the files in a folder
using a random selection process.
