Using the car adapter
The DVD player comes complete with a car adapter to connect
to your car’s power receptacle.
To use the car adapter in your vehicle, simply plug in
the car adapter into the car’s power receptacle as
depicted below and the other end into the unit’s ‘DC
IN 9V’ connector.

Do not operate the unit or view the video output while
operating a motor vehicle.
Place the unit in a secure position before operating the
vehicle.
Do not use the car adapter to charge the battery pack.
The car adapter can only be used during playback of
discs.

Using the power adapter
The DVD player comes complete with a power adapter to
charge the battery pack or to power the unit when attached to
an AC wall outlet.
To use the power adapter, simply connect the
appropriate end into an electrical wall outlet as
depicted below and the other end into the unit’s “DC
IN 9V’ connector.

Once power is applied, with the POWER button set to ON,
the unit will be in STANDBY Mode.
Do not charge battery pack and play disc concurrently.
Disconnect AC power adapter from wall when not in use.

Important
Using the earphones
The DVD player comes complete with earphones when you
prefer a private listening environment.
Insert the earphones into the earphone jack on the
right side of the unit. Adjust the volume level with
the volume “+” or “-” keys on the remote control or
front panel to a low output level. Place the earphone
buds into your ear. Increase the volume to your
desired volume level.

Excessive loud
usage of
headphones
could cause
damage to your
hearing.
Turn down the
volume before
connecting to
the unit, then
raise the
volume level to
your comfort
level.
No sound will
come out from
the unit’s
speakers once
the headphones
are connected.
