6.8 FDR
REPLAY
The FDR Replay is to be carried out at intervals not exceeding
24 months elapsed time, or as agreed with the relevant
Regulatory Authority.
NOTES:
1.
This procedure may be carried out with the DAFR
either in situ or removed from the aircraft.
2.
If the FDR Check is to be performed in situ, the
procedure for FDR System check identified above
should be performed. A lab FDR Replay is
identified following.
6.8.1 Equipment Required
The following equipment is required to carry out the check:
(1) Pentium IV 2.4 GHz PC, IBM or compatible, with the
following minimum specification:
(a) 10Base-T/100Base-Tx Ethernet Interface
(b) 1 Gbyte RAM.
(c) 250 Mbytes minimum free disk space (after
program installation).
(d) CD R/W ROM drive.
(e) Display adapter, ATI or NVIDIA based (mandatory
for 3D replay), DirectX9 compatible, 256MB, 1,024
x 768 resolution
(f)
80 GB storage capacity
(2) Ground Replay Software D51620
(3) Ground Replay Cable SA109680.
(4) 28VDC 4 Amp Regulated Power Supply.
6.8.2 Procedure
NOTE:
If the DAFR is in situ on the aircraft omit Steps (1) and
(2).
