7.2.3 Default Mode of Operation - Current Status
The DAFR maintains an internal register of the current status
of key functions and the results of self-tests. This register,
the Status Page, may be accessed using the web interface.
The default operational mode of the equipment may be
verified using a simple test cable to provide power and
connection to a PC. No other connections are made to the
DAFR.
(1)
Connect the Ground Replay Cable SA109680 to the
DAFR main connector.
(2)
Connect the power input plugs (white wire to positive,
black wire to negative) to the 28V power supply via the
DMM (in series with the positive circuit, 1 Amp DC
range).
(3)
Connect the RJ45 jack to the network port of the PC.
(4)
Apply power to the DAFR and the PC.
NOTE:
DAFR needs the current limit of the PSU to be set
to maximum. Setting a current limit low will
cause the hold up charger circuit to overheat.
