SECTION 3 JETSORT 1000 Series MAINTENANCE

3.

CLEANING YOUR JETSORT:

The entire sorting chamber of your JetSort should be cleaned at least once a week to
remove coin dust and debris that accumulates in the sorting area.

To clean your JetSort, remove the sort disk. Take a stiff, non-metallic brush and clean
the grooves on the underside of the top disk, making sure that you DO NOT brush the
sort pad which rests on the lower disk.

Check the sort pad for any cuts that may affect the sorter's accuracy. Replacement sort
pads are readily available from your Local Cummins branch office. Replace the sort
head and be sure to latch it shut. Vacuum the entire chamber area around the sort
head.

4. PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE:

Preventative Maintenance Inspection Agreements are available from Cummins-Allison.
A preventative maintenance contract not only helps extend the life of your JetSort, but it
also prevents down time and expensive repairs. For additional information, contact your
local Cummins branch office.
