2. Selecting the available data:
Depending on what downloadable files are available ( New software available ).you.can.use. CH

a.) Software :.. The.digital.receiver’s.system.software
b.) Channel list :.The.digital.receiver’s.channel.list.
c.) OSD text :. All.the.menu.texts.that.are.displayed.on.the.screen.by.the.digital.receiver
d.) Information : Information on the files ready for download,
........e.g..version.number,.new.features,.noteworthy.information.etc.

When. making. the. selection. it. is. possible. that. a. further. menu. item. will. be. automatically. activated,.
because.the.update.requires.the.additional.data.

3. Starting the update process:
The.actual.update/download.process.is.started.as.follows:.

Once the first data has been received, the progress of the download will be displayed in the status
window..As.the.data.is.received.in.blocks,.several.minutes.may.pass.between.individual.data.blocks..
As soon as the first of the data blocks selected in 2. has been 100% received, the receiver will store
the data immediately, and the display will flash while data is being stored. Wait until all data blocks
have.been.received..Once.the.update.process.is.complete,.the.receiver.will.switch.to.standby.mode.
WARNING:
As.long.as.the.receiver.hasn’t.started.to.store.the.data,.the.download.can.be.cancelled.at.any.time.
with.
EXIT . However, once the first data is being stored, cancelling is no longer possible.
Interrupting.the.download.(e.g..by.disconnecting.the.mains.plug).may.damage.the.receiver!
NOTE:
If.the.download.contains.a.new.channel.list,.the.receiver.must.be.reset.to.factory.defaults.in.order.to.
activate.the.list.
