17. Make sure that cut-off tile pieces are not caught by the blade and sent flying.
18. Never remove lose splinters or tile parts while the blade is moving.
19. Before rectifying malfunctions or removing smashed tiles, always switch off the cutter
and pull out the mains plug.
20. If the knife & work piece got stuck, should power off immediately, clear up the
fragments, check whether the blade & protection cover are damaged, only can turn on
the power if the machine is under normal status.
21. If the rip fence was knocked from the working position, replace the work piece stopper.
Make sure to pull the mains plug first.
22. Before switching on, check that all spanners and setting tools have been removed.
23. After carrying out repair or maintenance work, all safety and security fixtures must be
replaced immediately.

28. Use only diamond blades for which the maximum possible speed is higher than the
maximum spindle speed of the cutter and the material to be cut.
29. When transporting the tool, always use transportation devices. Never grab protection
devices for handling or transportation.
30. Fill the cooling tank 5/6 full of water. It is quite normal for the tool to cause splashes
during use.
31. Only use undamaged diamond blades. Immediately replace any cracked blades.
5.9. Transportation
Before any transportation, the cutting unit must be secured to the bar guide with the
locating screw (13).
Fold the machine for long-distance transports. Two persons are required to move the
cutter. One person grabs the handle on one side, the second person grabs the handle on
the other side. Lift the tool off the ground for moving.
For short-distance transports, mount the provided wheels to the bottom of the supporting
legs. See chapter on wheel mounting.
5.10. Designated use of the stone cutter
The electrical stone cutters CSC 1000 and CSC 1100 were developed for the cutting of
ceramic, marble and granite tiles. The blade of this cutter can be tilted up to 45°. A water
pump cools the diamond blade.
Warning: Never attempt to cut wood, metal and other similar material with this
machine.
Never use this machine in potential explosive environment or underground
environment.
