Step 8 — Porch end String-
ers:
locate the two Porch end String-
ers (Al).
be sure not to con-
fuse them with the three Cen-
tral Stingers which have a hole
farther from the end.
fasten the end Stringers to the
Porch Corner Posts as shown,
using 5/16 x 5-1/2" Hex bolt As-
semblies. The fastener should
pass through the lower hole in the
Platform front or Back, the Post,
and then the end of the Porch end
Stringers. note the hole should be
slightly offset toward the top of the
board.
fasten the opposite end of each
end Stringer to the Center Plat-
form Support using one 5/16 x
5-1/2" lag Screw and one 5/16"
flat Washer.

Step 7 — Platform front & Platform back:
fasten the Platform front (AC) to the Posts at one end of the structure using five 5/16 x 4" Hex Bolt Assemblies as shown
at right. on the short Post use the top hole only. Repeat with the Platform Back (Ad) on the opposite Posts.
